Twin to twin transfusion is a complex and unpredictable condition
with a very poor outcome without treatment. There a number of
treatment options available but even with the latest and most advanced
techniques some twins will die. The decision-making process regarding
the best treatment option for an individual pregnancy will involve
much discussion between the parents-to-be and the treating medical
team. The main treatment options are discussed here.
