Once TTTS is suspected or diagnosed ultrasound scans will
need to be performed every week to monitor the progress of the
condition and the well-being of the twins. Management options will
be discussed in detail. Some couples may choose not to intervene
but, rather, to let nature take its course. Without treatment up to
up to 90% of twins will die in severe TTTS.
